Make the switch to Norbel Credit Union and experience more of a good thing!
Consolidating your accounts with Norbel Credit Union will give you the all-in-one convenience you've been looking for from a financial institution. We have created a simple Switch Kit to help you make a smooth transition to quality service, lower fees and great rates on deposits and loans.
Follow these five easy steps to Make the Switch: Click on the highlighted links below, print and fill out the appropriate forms to change your direct deposits, move your automatic payments, transfer your money from your existing financial institution, and close your old accounts. Step 1 Join Norbel Credit Union and open a checking account using our convenient online Membership Application or at the branch of your choice. For easy 24-hour access to your funds, be sure to apply for a Debit Card with your checking account. Remember to stop using your old account.
Step 2 Switch your Direct Deposits to your Norbel Credit Union account. Send the Direct Deposit Change Form to your employer, your retirement plan or any other source of Direct Deposits. Remember to include a voided check from your Norbel checking account.
Step 3 Switch your automatic payments or withdrawals to be drawn on your Norbel account, by using our Automatic Withdrawal Form. Don't forget to change any payments that may use your old Debit Card number. You can also pay bills online easily with our convenient Online Bill Pay Program and it's FREE when you sign up for e-statements with your checking account.
Step 4 Close your old account by completing the Close Old Accounts Form and send it to your previous financial institution when there is no activity for a full month. (It's a good idea to leave sufficient funds in your old account to cover any automatic payments that may still need to be withdrawn.) With your old account now closed, be sure to destroy any checks, deposit slips and receipts you won't need for tax purposes.
Step 5 Explore Norbel's many products and services to see how you can save more and earn more! Why consolidate with Norbel Credit Union? When you bring all your financial accounts, loans and savings accounts to Norbel, you are helping to make your credit union stronger and other member-owners, like yourself, stronger too.
